The library is a key stone in the college arch. It is a power house for any institution of education and learning. The library services should helpful to fulfil the objectives of its parent institution i.e.the college. One can predict the vision of higher authorities from the library.

A good and efficient library will certainly help students to meet the new challenges they start facing at college. They can, within the four walls of the library, use their leisure more usefully and meaningfully, discover their own inherent potentialities, launch upon instructive and absorbing hobbies and generally lay the foundations of a good and more responsible life of the future. The libraries will therefore become more important than the classrooms. It will become their workshops. It is in this context that a college library has to play a very responsive role, vis-à-vis, the needs of the young students. The library cater to the information needs of the students, researchers, faculties, management, alumni, honoured guests/ Visitors of the college.*
